Introduction

Below is the proposed features to be included in the next two version of UCVM. Some of these features are more abstract while others fix a specific issue as documented in a trac ticket. For issues that have a trac ticket associated with them, the trac number is both provided and linked.

UCVM 14.6.0

Proposed Release Date: June 30, 2014

Major new enhancements:

    - First release of CVM-S5
        - Includes PC and EL's desired GTL
    - Improved UCVM2Mesh utility
        - Ideally, with CVM-S5 speed enhancements, allows for 9000x9000x2048 mesh generation
        - Removes I/O bottlenecks     - Rewritten Python API
        - Makes plot generation and data collection very simple
        - Fully documented, clean Python package (PyCVM)
        - Integrated with CyberShake sites to allow CyberShake-related velocity model questions

Trac tickets:

    - [ 37 ] Issue with UCVM failing to properly set dynamic library settings on Stampede
    - [ 18 ] UCVM will be able to dynamically find and load models
    - [ 34 ] UCVM will warn the user that it may take a while to install
    - [ 36 ] Documentation about vs30_query will be added to the wiki
