12/7/15

Yesterday:

  • AGU talk prep:
    • extended calculations to include UCERF3-ETAS catalogs (previously just used UCERF3-TD)
    • added moment rate histograms showing sub population of high moment rate periods which follow the lowest 25% periods
  • ETAS sims for Ned

Today:

  • generate recurrence plots for UCERF3-ETAS catalogs
  • look into stationarity of recurrence properties in all models
    • plot "recurrence ratio" metric as a function of time
  • Ned followups, likely ETAS code changes and new runs

Blocked:

no

Followups:

Ned

Lower priority or longer term tasks

  • Fill in missing site/rupture distances in CyberShake DB for ERF 36 (200m)
  • finish mapping of historical earthquakes to UCERF3 ruptures in order to run ETAS simulations of aftershock sequences
