Agenda Updated: 9 September 2010
Meeting Format: CME Principal Investigator, Thomas Jordan, will present an introduction to SCEC4 computational science program. Then, the meeting will be organized around four main discussions areas:
- SCEC CVM development and Inversion-based CVM Improvements
- Stress Evolution and Dynamic Rupture Modeling
- Higher Frequency Ground Motion Modeling
- UCERF3.0, Time dependent PSHA, Eq Response Modeling.
Each session will have two discussion co-leaders. Each session co-leader has been asked to present 10 minutes of material describing their recommendations for CME computational science research during SCEC4. The majority of each session is expected to be general discussion on how to organize the CME collaborative computational science research.
We know the CME meeting time's overlap with the SCEC Source Inversion workshop. Many of the CME group members want to participate in both meetings. To support both of these worthwhile collaborative meetings, we will keep the CME meeting informal so that CME participants can move freely moving between meetings. We will keep the CME meeting on schedule so that you can determine when specific topics will be discussed as the CME meeting.
