Yesterday:
- ETAS work:
- skyped with Ned/Morgan/Nicholas
- added new histogram plots of max triggered mag
- code to identify and unproductive/typical/extreme catalogs, then made SCEC-VDO viz of each for paper
- added automatically generated metadata to result directories posted online
- launched new simulations on stampede
- worked with Tran on SCEC-VDO visualization for 25th anniversary t-shirt - new colors
Today:
- ETAS work:
- map historical earthquakes to UCERF3 ruptures in order to run ETAS simulations of aftershock sequences
- modify ETAS simulation code to work with arbitrary start time (e.g. right after occurrence of historical EQ)
- more plot changes: add distribution mode to each plot
- get Kioumars' simplified site amplification prototype working to use as test case against my implementation
