Yesterday:
- ETAS work:
- worked on estimating mode of arbitrarily discretized empirical distribution
- eventually realized that ETAS catalogs are evenly discretized
- added map based plot of nucleation rates
- added histograms of event generations
Today:
- ETAS work:
- map historical earthquakes to UCERF3 ruptures in order to run ETAS simulations of aftershock sequences
- modify ETAS simulation code to work with arbitrary start time (e.g. right after occurrence of historical EQ)
- more plot additions
- get Kioumars' simplified site amplification prototype working to use as test case against my implementation
