The SCEC Broadband Platform has been developed over several years. Prior to this current release, the most widely used and evaluated version was released in 2007. The Broadband Platform 2007 integrated many of the scientific codes that are in the current version of the platform. The Broadband Platform 2007 was used to run a specific scientific problem relating to ground motions on hanging wall faults.
Many of the scientific organizations that contributed to the current Broadband Platform also contributed to the Broadband Platform 2007 including ETH Zurich, SDSU, URS Corporation, USGS, and UCSB.
