Yesterday:

  • improved performance of CyberShake peak amplitude accessor in OpenSHA removing forced sorting (to speed up MCER map generation)
  • profiled ETAS calculations for Ned, found bottlenecks especially with some unnecessary Math.floor/round calls in inner loops, sped up calculations 30%
  • sucessfully used USGS event webservice in Java to download latest Comcat catalog directly in java

Today:

  • more ETAS calculation profiling
  • try to finish CyberShake MCER maps
  • finalize documentation and publish new UCERF3 time dependent probabilities tool, send notice to users
    • one more verification test as well
