Specifying Valid Data Ranges in Station Files
Below is a sample station file with 5 stations:
#BBP Station List #SLong SLat RSN Vs30(m/s) LoPass_Freq(Hz) HiPass_Freq(Hz) -121.800 37.450 24017 519 0.1750 111.1111 -121.769 37.373 24018 471 0.3750 111.1111 -121.871 37.414 24011 363 0.1500 111.1111 -121.808 37.347 24006 377 0.1875 111.1111 -121.643 37.342 24026 710 0.3875 111.1111
The 4th and 5th columns are used to specify at what frequencies the observation data is valid for each station. In this particular example, all stations have data valid up to above 100Hz (111.11Hz to be exact). But lower frequencies vary for each station.
In the Broadband Platform, data outside the range provided is discarded and not used for the Goodness-of-Fit plot.
