Development targets, Trac Tickets, and other activities related to Broadband Platform development
Spring 6
- Spring Dates: 10 Sept - 21 Sept
- Implementation of the Arias duration GOF plots
- Integration of new bbtoolbox model
- Develop scripts to run bbp on cluster
Sprint 5
- Sprint Dates - 27 August - 7 Sept
- Calculate velocity profiles (Vp,Vs,rho) for all California validation events
- Configure bbp to run on server or cluster
- Add Arias duration into validation pipeline
- Add Site Correction Module into validation pipeline
- End-to-end validation pipeline with both obs and sim processing
- Integrate new bbtoolbox codes into pipeline
- Configure UCSB and SDSU methods to run LOMAP
- Fill out 6 panel bias plots based on 3 methods running on server and cluster
- Install bbp software usable on server and cluster
- Prepare Broadband 12.8.0 Release, including:
- Run full validation tests for three main methods run on both server and cluster.
- Produce 12.8.0 distributions of validation and velocity model packages
- Update Documentation including Installation and User Guide
Sprint 4
- Sprint Dates - 13 August - 24 August
- Calculate velocity profiles for Landers and Hector Mine station sites
- Configure UCSB and SDSU methods to run LOMAP
- Post bias plots for LOMAP for 3 main methods on server and on cluster
- Add method that raises uncatchable exception to bbp_utils to identify unexpected conditions
- Add arias duration into validation pipeline
- Add rotd50 into validation pipeline
- Check rotd50 results from platform against results from CG
- Add site correction module to process observed seismograms
- Add observation data processing into validation pipeline
- End-to-end validation pipeline with both obs and sim processing.
- Data products list generated for validation runs.
- Make site response processing optional for validation runs
- Update GP codebase with compiler changes
- Prepare Broadband 12.8.0 Release
- Run full validation tests for three main methods run on both server and cluster.
- Produce 12.8.0 distributions of validation and velocity model packages
- Update Documentation including Installation and User Guide
Sprint 3
- Sprint Dates: 30 July - 10 August
- Routine plotting of LOMAP full validation with comparison acceleration plots (with fixed label), and Bias GOF plots for LOMA Prieta
- LOMAP workflow changed to include rupture generator
- Wiki site updated to contain current input files, current GOF, and example comparison plots
- URS modules renamed to GP
- Documentation on how to setup new GF and validation data
- DB code and PEER formatter included in trunk
- Rupture generator parameters separated into user selectable (), and modeler adjustable (DLEN, DWID, DT)
- ROTD50 running with acceptance test and producing file as part of LOMAP
- ARIAS running with acceptance test and producing file as part of LOMAP
- Integrate new bbtoolbox into platform
Sprint 2
- Sprint Dates: 16 July - 27 July
- Change validation processing so users specify a velocity model, which then determines the GF used in processing, removing "region" based GF selection in bbp v11.2.3.
Sprint 1
- Sprint Dates: 2 July - 13 July
- Separate Validation Data from BBP software distribution so observational data sets are not distributed as part of BBP software
