Yesterday:

  • ETAS work:
    • improved mapping from finite rupture surfaces to UCERF3 ruptures - work in progress
  • lots of recurrence plot improvements for Tom's presentation tomorrow and SCEC poster

Today:

  • ETAS work:
    • continue mapping of historical earthquakes to UCERF3 ruptures in order to run ETAS simulations of aftershock sequences
  • more figure generation for SCEC poster - allign recurrence plots with moment rate time series plots for direct comparison, requires additional bookkeeping
