10/12/15

Yesterday:

  • finished wrapper for Garcia regions perl script for now since USGS webservice that we want to use eventually is on an internal webservice
  • created fetcher for default ETAS parameters using Garcia region fetcher and data from Morgan
  • updated parallel ETAS code to work with Ned's latest changes
  • launched jobs on Stampede and babysat over the weekend. Went over disk quota Saturday but was able to clear out space

Today:

  • post process weekend ETAS runs for Ned, push through remaining calcs
  • respond to Phil's XSEDE allocation request
  • incorporate default ETAS parameters/Garcia region fetching into OAF application
    • post jar and send link to Morgan/Ned/Jeanne

Lower priority or longer term tasks

  • Fill in missing site/rupture distances in CyberShake DB for ERF 36 (200m)
  • finish mapping of historical earthquakes to UCERF3 ruptures in order to run ETAS simulations of aftershock sequences
