Yesterday:

• Started working on Composite Source Model code
  • Talked to JA, got input files and comparison seismograms
  • Compiled fortran codes
  • Ran codes manually
  • Greens Functions, and Simulation code
  • -O3 improves GF code performance by 40%, no changes to results, 10 stations/hr
  • Simulation code takes about 1 minute per realization (40 stations)
  • Results don't compare back to JAs data set, need to get updated synthetics from him
• Broadband science call
  • Showed results of 6 scenarios using GP and 3 scenarios using ExSIM
  • GP scenarios improved, ExSIM scenarios got slightly worse
• Finished metadata code
  • Use compile-time versions for compilers
  • Tested everything
  • Code checked into svn
  • Added start/end timestamps to BBP summary html file

Today:

• Start CSM Broadband module, automate manual steps
• Talk to JC about getting updated packages
• Generate a Mojave velocity model for RS
  • Also other data files for her to test the SDSU pipeline
• Ping KA about updates
• E-mail CG about adding GMPE results to Part-A scenarios
