Yesterday:

• recurrence plot updates:
  • read Zbilut and Webber Jr., 1992 & 1994 for additional metrics
  • generalized metric calculation code to make adding new metrics easier
  • better detection of main diagonal width for metric calculation
  • sped up calculation by precomputing/storing poisson catalogs
  • implemented determinism, laminarity, and diagonal length metric calculations - not very illuminating
  • met with Tom

Today:

• implement additional recurrence plot metrics, start analysis and generate relevant figures for poster
  • investigate additional metrics, see if any might be applicable and implement if relevant
• start SCEC poster

• Fill in missing site/rupture distances in CyberShake DB for ERF 36 (200m)
• finish mapping of historical earthquakes to UCERF3 ruptures in order to run ETAS simulations of aftershock sequences
