CTC Results
CISN Testing Center evaluation results are presented as reference performance metrics. An important goal of a collaborative testing capabilities is the ability to compare equivalent results. As of 20 June 2011, CTC testing results are based on CISN EEW algorithms contributing performance reports to the SCEC data center. Evaluation of CISN ShakeAlert system is under development.
CTC Interactive Performance Summaries
Current, and past, CTC performance summaries that are produced interactively using the CTC software are posted by processing date. These performance summaries are cummulative, with later summaries containing more events.
Interactive performance summaries are produced with a specific version of the CTC software in order to manage changes and improvements to the CTC processing software. Interactive results are reproducible by scientists as both the input EEW performance reports, and processing source code, are available from the CTC testing center.
CTC Automated Performance Summaries
Automated CSEP processing is based on CTC processing software used in interactive reports. CTC automates the retrieval of ANSS catalog information and ShakeMap site specific ground motion observations. Currently, the CTC automated processing only implements retrieval of observational data and CTC evaluation software is not yet integrated.
