Yesterday:
- Fling Study
- Scenario 131 (7.8 Mag) finished today, needs to be verified
- We are now 39/42
- Remaining scenarios all running on GEOSYS
- Updated wiki tables: http://scec.usc.edu/scecpedia/Fling_Study#Codebase_URS.2FURS.2FURS.2FURS
- Compared URS full validations of trunk against 11.2.3 (LA and LP).
- Results identical
- Running full validation tests for URS code NR
- Running NR full validation on 11.2.3 (didn't save that output)
- Trac #101: Implemented unit test to catch mix of spaces and tabs in Python code
- Current trunk fails that test (new Trac ticked #135)
- Started work on adapting run_bbp_parallel scripts to run Fling scenarios in 1 pass
- John's scripts only ran on 1 node
- Current scripts run on many nodes, but need to capture the output better (fails right now)
- Joined Broadband science call
- Lot of progress on the science side
- Lots of upcoming deadlines
Today:
- Fling Study
- Verify scenario 131
- Monitoring running scenarios
- Continue working on HPCC parallel scripts to run Fling scenarios in half time
- Continue working on the testing framework
- Work on Cruise Control setup (pending John Yu install)
Blocked:
- John Yu: Installing Cruise Control
Followups:
- Meeting with Phil to talk about Broadband development priorities @ TBD
Ongoing:
- Look for ways to break up the GF directory layout, some ideas are:
- Figure out how to separate the validation data from Greens Functions
- Create separate validation package
- Separate events and codebases from each other
