Optional Slip Weakening Parameters: • muAmp = 0.2 • muInvDist = 2.0

Physical Parameters (w/range of values): 1. Rate constitutive parameter (A_1)* ~0.01 – 0.006 2. State constitutive parameter (B_1)* ~0.008 – 0.0015 3. Initial shear stress (tau0_1) ~60MPa – 120MPa 4. Initial normal stresses (sigma0_1) ~100MPa – 200MPa 5. Coefficient of friction (mu0_1) ~0.5 – 0.7 6. Critical slip distance (Dc_1) ~1e-4 – 1e-5

Simulation Parameters (w/range of values): 1. Rupture slip speed (ddtotEQ) ~1 m/s – 2 m/s 2. Stress Overshoot Factor ~0.1 – 0.3 3. A-reduction Factor (fA) ~0.1 – 0.3

∗Stress drop scales as (b-a)x σ, so holding (b-a)x σ=0.5MPa while changing a or b is best. We could then only vary one parameter (a or b).
