  • research and understand new techniques for the rigorous statistical evaluation of stochastic event sets
  • develop end-to-end system that can execute scientific workflows (computational experiments) represented using DAGs.
  • provide scripts to reprocessing missing forecasts/evaluations identified from csep_db
  • distribute collection of open-source scripts to provide other testing centers provide access to their centers to identify gaps in forecasting
  • create RESTful API to provide access to different log files for the SCEC CSEP1 Testing Center and make available to researchers
  • produce a list containing status of all New Zealand forecasts and evaluations for forecast period to identify targets for reprocessing

  • Complete reprocessing NZ and SCEC. Target date: 15 May 2018.
  • Provide access tools to curated CSEP1.0 dataset. Target date: 1 June 2018.

  • Prototype (reprocessing) ensemble methods. Target date: 1 July 2018
  • Process ensemble models in NZ and SCEC. Target date: 1 August 2018
