Yesterday:

  • red through ASK 2014 publication looking for treatment of line sources to fix NaN hazard curve issue, not addressed in publication
  • pushed through GMPE/UCERF3 hazard curve calcs on stampede and added restart capabilities
  • created JavaFX test application and deployment, looks like it would have the same limitations as java web start for deployment
    • looked into getting SSL cert from John
  • calculations for Morgan to help refute paper released last week

Today:

  • create MCEr maps/spectrum plots which average UCERF3/GMPE results with UCERF2/CyberShake
  • start working on automatic fetching of default ETAS parameters for different Garcia regions
    • part of operational aftershock forecasting app
    • first step, get garcia region data from Morgan

Blocked:

Followups:

no

Lower priority or longer term tasks

  • Fill in missing site/rupture distances in CyberShake DB for ERF 36 (200m)
  • finish mapping of historical earthquakes to UCERF3 ruptures in order to run ETAS simulations of aftershock sequences
