Staff Priorities - Kevin

Yesterday:

• wrote wrapper script for FastMPJ on stampede to detect error on launch and internal FastMPJ communications errors during runtime and automatically restart calculationg (without exiting stampede job and giving up spot in the queue)
• contacted Mike Hearne at USGS for help accessing USGS Garcia Regions
• responded to broken link request related to materials at scec.org/ucerf which no longer exists.
  • forwarded to web team and sent the information requested directly in the meantime
• wrote parallel code to calculate characteristic-ness of each fault subsection across all UCERF3 logic tree branches, ran and sent results to Ned

Today:

• push through and post proccess ETAS jobs running on Stampede right now
  • generate diagnostic plots for Ned
• some more work on FastMPJ wrapper script (strange PATH behaviour on stampede is bypassing it at the moment)
• respond to request for UCERF3-TD fault probabilities on a subsection basis. this data exists but will need documentation/posting
• write wrapper for Garcia regions perl script for now since USGS webservice that we want to use eventually is on an internal webservice

• Fill in missing site/rupture distances in CyberShake DB for ERF 36 (200m)
• finish mapping of historical earthquakes to UCERF3 ruptures in order to run ETAS simulations of aftershock sequences
