Jump to navigationJump to searchSWUS GMC SSHAC Level 3 Project is co-sponsored by Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) and Arizona Public Service (APS) pursuant to the Request for Information put forth on March 12, 2012 by the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (US NRC) in response to the Near-Term Task Force’s (NTTF) evaluation of the Fukushima Dai-ichi accident.
The ultimate product of the Project is a ground motion model with logic trees addressing the median and standard deviation for a reference site condition, to assess probabilistic seismic hazard (PSHA) at the two sites of interest.
