CyberShake Study 20.5 is a CyberShake study in Southern California which uses Graves & Pitarka (2019) and includes stochastic high frequencies using the Graves & Pitarka high-frequency module from the SCEC Broadband Platform.
Contents
Output Data Products
Seismograms
- Deterministic (dt=0.05, nt=8000)
- Broadband (dt=0.01, nt=40000)
Intensity Measures
For deterministic seismograms:
- Store RotD50, RotD100 in the database at the following periods (7):
10, 7.5, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
- Calculate RotD50, RotD100 and store on disk at the following periods ():
20, 15, 12, 10, 8.5, 7.5, 6.5, 6, 5.5, 5, 4.4, 4, 3.5, 3, 2.8, 2.6, 2.4, 2.2, 2, 1.7, 1.5, 1.3, 1.2, 1.1, 1
For broadband seismograms:
- Additionally, store RotD50, RotD100 in the database at the following periods (12):
0.75, 0.5, 0.4, 0.3, 0.2, 0.1, 0.075, 0.05, 0.04, 0.03, 0.02, 0.01
- Additionally, calculate RotD50, RotD100 and store on disk at the following periods ():
, 0.85, 0.75, 0.65, 0.6, 0.55, 0.5, 0.45, 0.4, 0.35, 0.3, 0.28, 0.26, 0.24, 0.22, 0.2, 0.17, 0.15, 0.13, 0.12, 0.11, 0.1, 0.085, 0.075, 0.065, 0.06, 0.055, 0.05, 0.045, 0.04, 0.035, 0.032, 0.029, 0.025, 0.022, 0.02, 0.017, 0.015, 0.013, 0.012, 0.011, 0.01, PGA, PGV
- Store PGA, PGV in the database.
We will no longer calculate or store geometric mean.
Durations
- Store the following duration metrics in the database for broadband seismograms (calculate and store on disk for deterministic):
- Acceleration significant duration at 5-75% and 5-95% for both X and Y
- In addition to the above, calculate the following duration metrics and store on disk for both types of seismograms:
- Velocity significant durations for 5-75%, 5-95%, and 20-80% for velocity for both X and Y
- Acceleration significant durations for 20-80% for both X and Y
- Total Arias intensity
- Total cumulative absolute velocity
