CyberShake Study 20.5 is a CyberShake study in Southern California which uses Graves & Pitarka (2019) and includes stochastic high frequencies using the Graves & Pitarka high-frequency module from the SCEC Broadband Platform.

Output Data Products

Seismograms

  • Low-frequency (dt=0.05, nt=8000)
  • High-frequency (dt=0.01, nt=40000)

Intensity Measures

  • Store RotD50, RotD100 in the database at the following periods:
 10, 7.5, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0.5, 0.2, 0.1
  • Calculate RotD50, RotD100 and store on disk at the following periods:
 10, 8.5, 7.5, 6.5, 6, 5.5, 5, 4.4, 4, 3.5, 3, 2.8, 2.6, 2.4, 2.2, 2, 1.8, 1.6, 1.5, 1.4, 1.2, 1, 0.6666667, 0.5, 0.3333333, 0.25, 0.2, 0.1666667, 0.125, 0.1

We will no longer calculate or store geometric mean.

Durations

  • Store the following duration metrics in the database:
    • Acceleration significant duration at 5-75% and 5-95% for both X and Y
    • Velocity significant duration at 5-57% and 5-95% for both X and Y
  • Calculate the following duration metrics and store on disk:
    • Energy integral
    • Velocity significant durations for 20-80% for velocity for both X and Y
    • Acceleration significant durations for 20-80% for both X and Y
    • Arias intensity
    • Cumulative absolute velocity (CAV)
